About Yasmin
Founder and Director, Yasmin Sethi is a People & Culture professional with over 25 years’ business and leadership experience in market verticals which include Technology, Engineering, Mining, Construction, Agriculture, Telco, Wholesale, Supply Chain & Logistics, and Consulting Services.
With extensive local and international business experience in both public and private companies, Yasmin has led initiatives across the full People & Culture Value Cycle developed high-performing teams, coached executives and people leaders, and delivered on change, safety, workplace relations and governance projects.
A lifelong learner, leader and educator, Yasmin is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) in the UK, Certified Professional Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI), and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
She is passionate about coaching and developing team members, from graduates new to the workforce, disengaged or poor performers, key talent, and experienced executives. Coming from an entrepreneurial heritage, Yasmin’s journey in the People & Culture profession evolved from her love of business, the principles of psychology, and a fascination with languages and learning from people from different backgrounds. She enjoys dedicating time to coaching and mentoring emerging talent in the world of People & Culture, giving back to the profession whenever possible.
Having lived and worked in culturally-diverse environments in Australia and overseas, Yasmin understands the need to embrace the differences in people, their backgrounds, knowledge, abilities, skills and experience, in order to succeed and to realise the benefits team diversity can bring.
Over the course of her career, Yasmin has had the opportunity to work with such a diverse group of colleagues, leaders, functional specialists and subject matter experts. One post-acquisition project which Yasmin led to unify multiple business entities from a number of European countries was a turning point in her career. The project created a unique ‘One Company’ culture— creating trust, building respect and fostering collaboration among colleagues from several nations, with a diversity of languages, cultural norms and working practices.
Passionate about family, community, travel, learning about different cultures, and sport, Yasmin can often be found cheering on her team at an AFL, Rugby or Basketball game. She also enjoys cooking for the people she loves, keeping fit and active, and seeking out new experiences and adventures.
