This lamp is made out of scraps of waste paper. Which are moulded together using techniques of paper Mache. This lamp has a plain white exterior, when the light inside is turned on it changes colour. This as the layers of coloured paper on the inside shine through the white layer. This lamp is inspired by the nature of white light which can split into a spectrum of colours.
This lamp was part of a project that explored the usage and recycling of materials that are a part of our daily lives but not often overlooked at as a source of raw material for other products. |
